Who says you can’t have chocolate while nurturing your little one? This creamy, velvety avocado chocolate mousse is a decadent treat that boosts milk production and helps with postpartum recovery. Ingredients

1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted

Instructions

  1. Place the avocado, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and salt into a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to scrape down the sides and blend again to ensure a smooth texture.
  3. Transfer the mousse into serving bowls and chill for 1 hour before serving.
  4. Garnish with shaved dark chocolate if desired.
